Rotary teeing up for charity

JONESBORO - The Rotary Clubs of Clayton County and Lake Spivey will drive golf balls down the fairway Friday to raise money for numerous charities. The event at Lake Spivey Golf Club will begin with a 1 p.m. shotgun start, and people can sign up at www.lakespiveyrotary.com or www.rotaryclubofclaytoncounty.com. Proceeds will be used to pay for programs, charities and non-profits, such as donations of dictionaries to Clayton County third-graders, Arts Clayton, Boy Scouts of America, Rainbow House, House of Dawn and the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge.
